Ā All, I see that the description includes hardwood floors, but was hoping to get a few opinions from those who have actually used it on their own HW?
Answer:This works great on hardwood, my entire house is HW with the exception of the kitchen and Bathroom. I am actually on here to order another one. I've had mine for about 8 yrs. and the handle recently broke due to my husband using it to reach up and brush off snow on vehicles in these last few storms. It was too heavy for it. I have 2 dogs that shed a lot and this has been a life saver! Even in our previous house with carpet, it worked wonders!

Can you use it on tile or ceramic tile floors?
Answer:Absolutely. I used it on our ceramic tile in the sunroom and it works fantastic. Highly recommend. We have a long haired German Shepherd Dog. Also my hair tends to shed when I brush it and it works great in the bathroom.
